Topic for Blog-a-Ton 5 is...

Date for Blog-a-Ton 5 : December 5, 2009

Lets welcome the new Blog-a-Tonics first of all :

Blog-a-Tonics have voted for All in a day's work as the topic for Blog-a-Ton 5. I must congratulate Sid for suggesting this topic (Office space) during Blog-a-Ton 3, Madhu for giving it its present title back then and finally Narendra for revisiting it this time. Lets see how everyone perceives it.
(I must also congratulate Debosmita for suggesting the topic What if? which was a close second. Lets hope we are able to revisit it in the coming BATs.)

While dealing with the topic, you have the freedom to treat it the way you want. Its upto you; which genre of writing you choose, i.e. simple essay-type, article, dialogue, short story (even 55 Fiction for that matter), poem or whatever you feel like.

Moreover, its upto you; which mood or tone you choose to set it in, i.e. serious, witty, humour, optimistic or whatever that comes to you naturally.

Again, you have the freedom to choose the language of communication. However, we'll suggest you to write in English to put across your views to the maximum members which will also help you when its the time to vote for the BATOM.

I hope this clarification helps the new Blog-a-Tonics.

So, you all have ample time to write it but you'll have to wait till Dec 5 to post it finally along with everyone else.

Other rules regarding posting will be conveyed to you later.

So kindly wait for that notification on next Thursday/Friday rather than putting up queries right now. If the queries are regarding general pattern of the event, please go through the posts about previous events.
Wishing you all, a free flow of thoughts
Blog-a-Tonically yours
Vipul Grover

  4. Can anyone here explain me what this Topic deals with I am not able to grasp its context

    ReplyDelete
  5. Well vEnKy if we explain what this topic means then that will go against the grain of Blog-a-Ton. Just interpret it the way you want to. However, to make things a bit easier for you, this topic when suggested had something to do with, "write about some incident that happened to you at office/college/school etc."

  6. Dear Vipul, sorry for writing here. Presently I have a poor connectivity, so grabbed the first one, which seems to be working.
    I have a request for Blog-a-Ton 5.
Next week, I am traveling in remote parts of South Gujrat, where I will have no internet connectivity. I will return home on 6th early morning.
If you can kindly allow me to post my entry for Blog-a-Ton 5, on Sunday, 6th December latest by 8.00 p.m., I can participate. Otherwise, it is certain that I won't be able to participate.
If you say 'no' to my request, I understand.
Thanks in advance - for whatever is your decision!

Thank you so much for rolling me in the lists of talents!!

But I do have a question and a very basic one, what exactly is the topic “All in a Day's Work." mean!

I want to participate in it but somehow the words together are too brief to understand. Kindly let me know more specific the topic.

Shall be glad to get the prompt reply!
    Cheers!

  26. Hi Ravi, you can participate in any language though we ideally suggest English as the medium to reach out to maximum audience around the country..

Hey Roshmi, i undrstood tht its the code.. usually, we are the ones whon get scared on seeing ur mammoth posts :p

    ReplyDelete
  27. @ Vipul: My posts aren't mammoth. Its just an 'illusion' ;)

PS: btw... the 'mammoth' - is any species of the extinct genus Mammuthus. Got it! They are 'extinct'...
